The Nova Scotia Union of Public & Private Employees (NSUPE) is a small union that consists of nine Locals representing approximately 2000 workers in the public and private sectors.
NSUPE was founded on the belief that all workers deserved safe working conditions, job security, and fair wages. Since its inception in 1974, NSUPE has had a storied history of representing smaller groups of employees looking to improve their working environments. Currently, NSUPE represents unionized workers in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

Local 19 – Blood collection workers of Canadian Blood Services, Prince Edward Island
Local 22 – Operations workers of Cole Harbour Place
